Cursed with immortality, Dermot MacKay craves death. To lift the faerie curse placed upon him and his men over 1600 years ago, he must return the soul of his reincarnated wife to the exact place and time of her murder. But her soul is currently residing in the very modern Sidney St. George – and first he has to convince her to accompany him to Scotland.

Sidney doesn’t believe Dermot’s wild claims of immortality and rebirth. Yet she cannot deny that she is drawn to the sexy Scot. Nor can she explain the sense of déjà vu his touch elicits. Desperate for answers, she agrees to go with him – only to learn too late that to help the man she loves is to lose him forever…

  2. Hi Barb,
Just dropping by to say hello. Well, it’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Druid :-D . Because of that book, Barb and I have become great friends!

Can’t wait to read it in its entirety :-)

  3. I really enjoyed reading The Legend of the Druid Laird. What imagination! You kept me guessing until the end about how Sidney and Dermot could possibly have a happy ending.

    • Thanks for reading my story, Cindy. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

  4. I really enjoyed The Legend of the Druid Laird. I liked how well the story unfolds- as we learn more about the history of your characters we are also drawn into their lives going forward. The dialogue is witty and compelling. I love escaping into your books! Thank you for sharing another wonderful novel with me.

  5. Thanks so much for reading my novels! And thanks even more for liking my work. The next one is a real change for me–Far From Prefect is a contemporary women’s fiction with romantic elements. I’m enjoying the change of pace.

  6. I love to travel. Go to new places, see new things, meet people. What a treat it is to get away and explore a new world.

That’s how I felt about reading “Legend of the Druid Laird”. What a delightful journey of magic, romance and fun characters!

Looking forward to packing my bags again…

    • Thanks, Julie. I’m glad you enjoyed LOTDL, and I’m especially glad I managed to transport you to faraway places! That’s the goal, you know!

  7. The romance that builds between the centuries past Malcolm and the modern day Alethia from True to the Highlander is a treasure. The antics that ensue through out the book have you laughing at points then move to worry just as quickly when the conflicts arise. It was a pleasure from start to finish and kept my imagination going nonstop, couldn’t put it down. Thanks for sharing with me.

    • Thanks, Lisa! I’m glad you liked TRUE TO THE HIGHLANDER.

  8. Legend of the Druid Laird was excellent. Once again you had me spellbound. When we finally got to witness the loss through Sidney’s eyes I was in tears. I’m so glad they were able to have a happy ending. But I still was left wanting more…I’m thinking you need to let the other “highland warriors” find their own mates. Loved it!

    • Thanks, Lisa. I have plans for a few of those Highland Hunks!

  9. What a fun book to read. I loved the majic and mystery, the history and adventure, and the exciting ending. When can I read the next one?

  10. First – the site is perfect.
I recently had the distinct pleasure of getting a sneak peek at ‘Legend of the Druid Laird.’
Wow! The plot is a very unique take on the Celtic romance. There is a mystical flavor to the story that is both intriguing and accessible. The Laird is strong and masculine, yet able to mold and change with the times changing around him. Sidney is an independent woman, with troubles and a personality that are easy to relate to. They are both witty, strong willed and having a hard time pulling down the walls they have put up to protect themselves and their families. It was fun watching them and their friends take jabs at them as those walls started coming down. Love that it’s set in St. Paul, yet clear to anyone not familiar with the city.
Well done! Can’t wait to see it in print!

    • I know, huh! They did a great job. It was a challenge, because the story takes place in the present, but she’s his reincarnated wife from the distant past. How do you capture that “feel?”

    • Thanks, Eleri. I’m thrilled with it!

  19. Absolutely beautiful cover Barbara!
